Kids Think Curriculum

The Kids Think Curriculum provides developmentally-appropriate learning opportunities to encourage your child to be confident, successful, life-long learners. The early years are critical to your child’s positive growth and development and they are eager to learn new skills experience challenging opportunities and be encouraged for their strengths and talents.

Creative Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum includes developmentally appropriate goals and objectives for children within four main categories of interest: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. Research shows that a whole-child approach to education—one where children develop not only math and literacy skills but also social-emotional, physical, and cognitive skills—is developmentally appropriate and better prepares children for a life well beyond their time in a classroom.

CULTURAL COMPETENCE PLAN

We value you and every child’s unique differences. Our program has a commitment to respecting all children and families’ diverse and cultural needs. Bre’s Joyful Tots Family Daycare’s goal is to provide a supportive early learning program that respects home culture and promotes and encourages the active involvement of the traditional family, extended family, and the non-traditional unit. To ensure all children and families of different cultures and ethnicities are respected and valued our program provides the following:

Preschool

When the overall age group of my children warrants, we will provide a hands-on, theme-based preschool program for children ages 2 - 5 at no additional cost to you. Letter, shape, color, number recognition, concepts (such as big and little), science, math, literature, and more will be taught as a regular part of my program. We will also enjoy music and special fun days. My goal with my preschool program is to provide stimulating activities for each child's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to prepare each child for Kindergarten.
